Medium Intensity Red Lighting System

     The LEDGuard L-864 LED based red beacon is designed for lighting television, radio, communications and microwave towers and other hazards to aircraft navigation. The beacon replaces incandescent 300mm beacons with technology that can last up to 10 times as long as incandescents with lower power consumption.

      The Honeywell L810LED series of obstruction lights provide an LED based solution to the FAA L-810 style of steady burn lights.



SiteGuard WC-60

SiteGuardTM

     SiteGuard monitoring services handle all time dependent monitoring tasks without requiring your interaction. If a light “burns out,” Honeywell's system does the following:

  • Dry contact output is read into the SiteGuard System
  • SiteGuard initiates alarm call either over phone lines or wireless connection
  • Alarm received at Honeywell's ProtectionNet Network operations center, with operators providing around the clock, 365 days a year service
  • ProtectionNet initiates an FAA Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) for any appropriate lighting failure
  • The client is notified of the failure via telephone, voicemail, pager, fax or email
  • With the NOTAM in place, you can now work at your own schedule to repair the light outage
  • If after 14 days we have not heard from you, we will contact you to determine the status of your tower
  • We will file the NOTAM extension if necessary or we will remove the NOTAM, with no additional work from you

Medium Intensity Dual (Red/White) Lighting System
FAA Type: L-864 /L-865 (White)
ICAO Type: Medium Intensity Type A/B

     A medium intensity dual lighting system which combines a daytime white strobe and a nighttime red flashing light into a single flashhead, eliminating the need for two separate lighting systems. The system comes complete with a flashhead, power supply and photocell. The FG3000B is used on structures ranging from 200' to 500'.

     A medium intensity white lighting system which utilizes a single flashhead for daytime and nighttime operation. The system comes complete with a flashhead, power supply and photocell. The FG2000B is used on structures ranging from 200' to 500'. An additional lighting system is the FlashGuard 2009B which is a medium intensity red lighting system which operates only at night.

High Intensity White Lighting System
FAA Type: L-856 (White)
ICAO Type: High Intensity Type A

     A high intensity white lighting system which utilizes an uni-directional flashhead for daytime, twilight, and nighttime operation. Three flashheads are required for complete coverage of most towers. A single controller can operate between 1 to 24 flashheads. The SG-60 system is used on structures ranging from 500' to 2200'.
